The latest vacuum from Shark is the Shark Navigator Elite Professional Lift-away Rotator – Model NV501.  Quite a mouth full for the name of a vacuum cleaner, but this one can do a lot and is very versatile.

Shark's vacuum performance is known be comparable to that of the leading higher end vacuums like Dyson and Miele, but they are about half the price and this one can practically turn into 3 different styles of vacuum. It is available at for around $300.

The Shark Navigator NV501 is multifunctional and has a large capacity. This makes for a great vacuum for larger spaces since it can pick up a lot and because it is so versatile that it can reach all the surfaces in your home. A great choice of you want a vacuum that does it all.

  • Versatile
  • High quality
  • Tips over easily in upright position
  • Stiff hose

This vacuum can be converted to be used in 3 different ways to vacuum your home. First, it is an upright vacuum, of course, and has swivel steering technology. This makes turning the vacuum and maneuvering around furniture easier. With the turn of your wrist the vacuum turns, great for vacuuming the carpets. The second way this vacuum can be used is by pulling away the canister with the push of a button and you have a handheld vacuum, which is good for cleaning stairs. The third thing this vacuum can do is you can take the handle off from the upright position and that turns into a hose with wand extension so that the rest of the vacuum rolls along like a canister vacuum. It really is very versatile.

The brush roll can be turned on or off so you can use it on hard floors as well. This model has an extra large dust cup, so it can capture a lot of stuff before you have to empty it out. It also has a head light to help you see the cleaning area better. The power cord reaches 30 ft. so you can clean a large area quickly, without having to change outlets. Attachments that come with this vacuum are an extendable flexible crevice tool that can be used to reach areas under appliances and a premium pet power brush to get up the pet hair.

I would recommend the Shark Navigator NV501 to someone looking a vacuum that sort of does it all. If you want a canister, handheld, and upright vacuum and want to save yourself some money and space for storage then this is the perfect vacuum. It will meet all of your vacuuming needs as it is 3 vacuums in 1.
